There are many common words missing from the dictionary, even the paid version. The verb tables are useful.

Works really very well indeed. Only a few words missing and the ability to conjugate verbs a great plus. Would not like to be without it living in France!

The most useful Eng-Fre dictionary app out there! Very, very good when you are on the go and just want fast word translations both ways. The short annotations describing the context in which a word is used always help you find the exact word you are looking for. Fast and useful enough to use it in middle of conversations! (if you dont need to translate too many worlds...)

A decent dictionary in a bookstore will cost three times as much. This app is easier to use and has lots of features you wont find in any book. Well worth it!

This is a great tool to translate any word that comes in your way without having to look through a dictionary which will take a lot of time. It also gives you the pronounciations of the word to make the word seered into your memory. I encourage every student who is learning English or French as a second language to have this app!

I use it daily and especially during French classes as an electronic dictionary.

Its useful. Translations are accurate. I like the quiz function. It could be improved with a function that allows you to save and review words you looked up.

Good tool but it could still be better. I have come across quite a few words that are current in French yet they cant be found on this dictionary, especially when it comes to looking up a word in its plural form, you have to learn to decipher which is hard to do when youre learning a new language!

I am currently taking a French course and have been using the app for about a week which has been very useful. It is simple and easy to use. The sounds for the words have been useful when learning new words. The simple touch of a button to conjugate verbs has been great. The only reason I am not giving it a five star is because there have been a couple of words I could not find. But otherwise it is great.

This app is the best English-French dictionary available on the iPad for learners bar none. It beats my paper dictionaries and does not require an active Internet connection for translation look-ups. Furthermore, look-ups are made via English or French entry. And conjugated verb look-ups is a standard feature built into the app! At a nominal price, this product is a steal. Strongly recommended for students learning French! Suggested Improvements: (1) Make it easier to highlight prior entries so that multiple character deletions would be unnecessary (i.e., entire word deletions preferred). (2) Continue to expand vocabulary lists from beginners to intermediate level. Another thousand words or so would be preferable and would make this app unbeatable.

Excellent resource. Awesome layout and user interface. A must have for anyone learning the language. The new update is amazing!
