I cant believe I paid $9.99 for this app which is severely lacking in both French and English vocabulary. I have never seen pictures (as shown in the sample), and the option to hear a word pronounced almost never functions. But the real disappointment is in the lack of words. I find it pretty useless since almost every other word I search ends up not appearing in it.

I def recommend this app, and the last update made it even better. Keep up the good work!!

I use this all the time while reading French books. It has been so helpful in improving my vocabulary.

The examples add so much clarity when you are seeking the best word for the use.

This dictionary is a work in progress. There are a number of words in current French periodicals that are not in here as of yet. But dont worry - well work on this. The quiz is very addictive! The other night I was trying to increase my score above 91% and was late to dinner!

I have many French language apps. if i need to look up a single word, i turn to this one. Many layers, yet designed for easy navigation. Best judge of an app is if you use it. I do, a lot.

Since the update, this app is the best available resource for a French-English dictionary. The app has the best of one dictionary Ive encountered, and provides seem less access to Reverso, the best online resource for finding nuanced translations less-used French words that will not appear in an offline dictionary.

This app is much more than a dictionary. I really like the ability to create my own phrases and then listen to them. I consider this to be one of my best tools for learning French and strongly recommend it.

I use it all the time for French class. Definitely worth getting it.

Being able to listen to the pronunciations of words in French is so important. This app does that besides giving me definitions. Im so pleased with this app, that I immediately downloaded their Spanish and Italian versions also.

Good supplement to Google, etc., translators. I bet youll use it.

So far very helpful in my learning process. Particularly in the pronunciation, which you can set on a Slow setting for newbie ears.

I use this app every day. Its incredibly handy both for looking up nouns and conjugating verbs in any number of forms. Every so often it wont know a word, but it can identify most everything I need it to incredibly fast.

This app is phenomenal! Im a 3-year French student, and my end game is mastery, because I plan to live in France. This app is more thorough and informative than any Ive used before! It provides multiple defenitions for every word, everyday phrases, conjugation, pronounciation, English/French search capabilities, and noun gender specification... all wrapped up in beautiful formatting. What more could one ask for? :) Well worth the price. Dont hesitate if youre a student of French! Et bonne chance!

I can’t believe I just spent 10 bucks on this app. It lacks many words. Just to give a couple of examples ( and I found many ), it does not have the words “ tiédir, badigeonner ( by itself ). I chose this app based on the reviews. It is NOT worth 10 bucks. I actually prefer the Larousse and lintern@ute, ce dernier being free even. Just look up any word in l’intern@aute and you will find many examples in which the word is used. I feel ripped off. I want my money back. I wish there were a way to get my money back.

I am a French 2 student, so a beginner, and this is great for homework and pronunciation. Also, the verb conjugations are terrific! Worth the money.

Use very often, on the streets and for study. Great tool for a new student of French!

Good reference for French. I am always going back and forth between it and my work.
