I am currently taking a year long French course with the Canadian Military and find this to be the most useful tool I have at my disposal! Well worth the money!

Hugely useful, but would be better If it indicated wether words were masculine or feminine.

LOVE it! Its began an almost necessary tool for me to use as a French learner, ESPECIALLY in class! Ive never not searched for a verb that I could find. Its much more convenient than having to flip open & search for a word/verb in a dictionary.

If you are looking for a electronic dictionary for French learning, this is it. If you check out the free version you will get a taste of how quick the app is for finding words and verb conjugation, but of course the vocabulary is limited. The paid version (along with its expanded vocabulary) is well worth the cost because of the time you will save looking up word translations!

Took a bit of roaming around to figure it out. Needs some sort of tutorial.

This looks like a good dictionary but it has many faults. It does not provide the gender of French words, which is something a dictionary must have. I could not find the French words for "spoon" or for "fireplace" on a recent search. There are probably other omissions if you care to look for them. A good idea that got sloppy.

I use 2 dictionary apps plus google translate and web searches for phrases. This is a good app, particularly useful if you dont have a wifi signal. A good collection of phrases and idiomatic usage. Complete verb conjugations. No complaints.

I like the interface of the new update! But the dictionary itself needs more entries.

Much improved. Best new feature is that it now pronounces all verb conjugations.

I have a collection of these (even for languages I dont speak). IMO, they really represent the best dictionary/translators available.

I am learning French with only minimal background from school. I love this dictionary because it gives you the many many contexts each word may be used in, as well as every verb and conjugation you could imagine. It has been invaluable to me!

Ive been using this French-English dictionary and the companion Spanish, Italian and German dictionaries for over three years and each version just gets better and better. They are wonderful for travel or general reference. The special features, including verb conjugation tables, audio pronunciation of words and the option to search online for definitions not in the app make this an extremely versatile and useful reference tool. Id recommend it and its companion dictionaries to anyone looking for language apps for their iPad or iPhone.

Easy to use and smart!

I have hundreds of apps and this is the one I use the most. The improvements over the past year have been very helpful, specially the pronunciation for offline.

I am taking SLT in the CF and I use this app every day. Almost perfect
